Summary
-This business plan has been prepared to propose a new administrative board of directors in order to reactive a seemingly inactive company.
-Zoey Corleone would be appointed CEO and take majority 51% of the company and would have plans to bring onboard another administrative director or principal.
-The magazine’s theme would need to be reoriented to what second life offers for clubs, music and artists.
-New pricing and packages for advertisements will be offered
-Fresh new articles will be written and edited
The CEO
Zoey Corleone the proposed CEO is probably one of the best persons available to take the job, being in Secondlife since 2006 she knows the in’s and the outs of the game when it comes to either running her own club or hosting major events such as DJ and ClubHopping marathon. She also has recently came from Holland to take some English courses to perfect her writing and English skills. She is also actively involved in the world of music working close with the founder of Xltrax.com. She is an honest and dedicated and hard working person, with great visionary qualities that are only found in true leaders.
The Company
We would like to change the title of the magazine in TheScene and change the orientation and theme of the magazine to more “cool” SL music artist orientated, giving an opportunity for SL’s club to advertise upcoming events or concepts that they might have and want to share. It will also be a great place for SL artist to advertise and talk about their music and the newest developments.
Besides the focus being on Music, there will be a small section dedicated to fashion, finance and lifestyle within SL.
The magazine will be offered free of charge in as many different scenarios possible, offering great visibility to any artist, deejay and club or store owner. It will also offer a great opportunity for SL artists or deejay’s to get some written reviews or recognition!
The magazine will be directed to all types of residents in which way we feel can bring up circulation.
The website will have an issue online, with blogs. Maintained and hosted by us.
We will also be looking for partners that wish to circulate the magazine and promote it for us.
We will be seeking representatives to sell advertisement spots, where interesting commission will be offered.
We will always have spots for freelance writers to contribute their work.
We have secured a location/sim for our offices and headquarters.
Our mission
To provide Sl with a fantastic reference, all the while informative, to the interesting music scene and amazing artists that SL has to offer. All the while we want to be a profitable company that will have a long, healthy and prosperous future!
