A tragedy happend today - Please read but dont be alarmed.
Trust is hard to find.

Dear shareholders,
Today one of my employees has betrayed my trust :(
After a little private meeting with him where i announced his project was going to be suspended he totaly freaked out.
The reason for this is that the client that orderd it has left secondlife with a note saying he was sorry but had no more time for SL and no more need of his order.
After some heavy words he seemed to have calmed down and accepted the fact he's work has been for nothing (I do know how he felt as its not pleasant to see all yout work go down the drain).
We sat down and looked over what other projects where on the table to continue on.
After some more talk and finnaly back laughing with stupid jokes :p lol i got up and went to get some drinks. i hear his voice saying he needs to go for a family emergency and i hear the door close right after that.
Thats when it already happend, i never saw it comming.
behind us, on of the computers, our secret bank avatar was loaded up into secondlife because before he came to my house i was making the Q2 - 2008 of J-Corporation (SL-side).
At first i didnd't notice it. until i wanted to make the final calculations I look up and see the L$ balance at 0. Stunned by what i see i freeze up and start to think everything over. then i went to look at the payment history. 4 payments went out to 4 different avatars. I contacted the Avatars and they all repleyd almost the same that whatever i would say i dont want the money back. I began to dig into the chat history and found this line privatly send to each avatar. "A gift i'm leaving SL. dont give it back whatever i say so i can leave SL in peace" I knew then i was beaten and he played it well (sadly)
Over 200k is gone. But after that i immediatly contacted my other staff and we came to a agreement.
250 US$ will be trasferd from J-Corporation RL programing side to The SecondLife Side.
250 US$ will be transferd from my own pocket to J-Corporation (SL Side) since i feelits my fault i "trusted him to much in the end" leaving the bank avatar exposed while i was out of the room
I know this will not compensate the 200k+ But its the best i can do for the moment.
More good news we still have a payment "Pending" and waiting for its arrival through bank wire. this money will then also be transferd to SL
So please dont be alarmed. i have to report that the company has "0" Linden Dollars at this point in time but will fast report that we regained a large protion.
We are not bankrupted since we have almost no costs in secondlife. and the money will come back.
