Dear Fellow Carter Land Holdings Shareholders,
It is a pleasure for me to take this opportunity to write you a general update regarding some company news that are taking place this month.
First off I would like to say that the Second Life economy has been hard and it still causing lower revenues for businesses in our sector. This however is only a trend and I am confident that a new cycle will commence in the following months.
This month in order to appeal to more second life users we have installed two brand new skyhome units.
The "Lancaster" is a spacious two floor apartment with all the ammenities one could desire.It is oriented to couples that like bigger spaces and it represents the largest of all our units.This model has been sold out at its introductory price and more will be installed soon.
The "Exeter" is a much smaller open apartment it aims to please the SL Single who needs a place to bring friends and love interests. It is moving ready and it has been exhibit for visitors at our office for a while. This week we plan to finally make it available to rent.
In another note, we have decided to develop a website for Carter Land Holdings because we have noticed most businesses in second life have either poor sites or no sites at all. This is specially true in the rental sector.
The site will be useful for both shareholders and tenants alike and it will allow us have a higher outreach towards the community. Tenants will be able to see the units we offer along with all the details (floorplan,pictures). We will also have a automated support ticket system to improve our customer service. Finally tenants will be able to acess news and read the covenant of our rental facilities online.
For the shareholders we have also planned a detailed section. We will publish news, financials and other progress reports there in one single area for easy acesss. In addition, we will have a instructional manual on how to become a CLH Shareholder with VSTEX. This we hope will bring new investors and prepare us for expansion.
